Book Tickets for the Uffizi Gallery

The Uffizi Gallery is famous for its extraordinary collections of both paintings and statues, making it one of the most visited in Florence and in Italy.

Book your admission tickets to save time: you will benefit from skip-the-line priority using a separate line to the Uffizi Gallery.

How do I purchase tickets to the Uffizi?

There are two ways to book your museum tickets ahead of time: either by phone or online.

Keep in mind you will always have to pay €4 extra for purchasing tickets ahead of time, regardless of how you book. The only way to skip that fee is to wait and buy tickets the day of at the museum.

  1. Phone: The cheapest way to book tickets and the one we recommend you do first. You will have to pay for the international call (but you can try VoIP call, right?) and save on any additional online fees some other websites may charge. From abroad, call: +39 055 0354135 – just keep in mind the time difference with Italy (+1 UTC) Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (local hours).
  2. Online: You have several options, depending on whether you’re interested in only tickets or tickets included with a guided tour of the collections. If you’re coming during peak season in Florence, you might find tickets at one website but not on another so check more than one website before booking. Booking online means you can have tickets for your dates right now (no waiting for the phone center to open if you’re on the other part of the world)!

Where to buy tickets?

The section above suggests two channels to book tickets from, you decide which one to purchase tickets from!

If you need assistance after purchase, you need to contact that website (or call center) directly to request help. We cannot intervene for you to make changes or cancellations as each website has its own procedure for doing so.

Also keep this in mind about your ticket/tour, regardless of the channel you choose to book from:

  • Your museum ticket is only valid for the selected date and time you book.
  • If you’re going to be late, the museum generally allows entrance for up to 20 minutes after your reserved starting time. If you arrive later, you can no longer enter and will need to buy a new ticket at the entrance.
  • Starting October 13, 2025, all entry tickets to the Uffizi Galleries museums will be sold with the name of the person it is intended for. That means that it will have to match photo ID to be presented on entry, and are non-transferable. If your ID doesn’t match the name on the ticket, then you will not be allowed to enter and no refund will be given.
  • After booking, you will receive a booking confirmation with your tickets or booking confirmation with details on your tour. You can print tickets, but the Uffizi now allows you to show that directly on your smart phone at entry, no need to print tickets! .
  • If you book a guided tour, the museum ticket is already included in the cost of the tour. The booking confirmation voucher you receive by email after booking will indicate instructions for a meeting point and time for your group. Your guide will have pick up the tickets for your group and you will enter through a separate line for groups.
  • If you don’t book tickets online or by phone ahead of time, there is a separate entrance for buying tickets the day of. You will just have to wait in line and pay for tickets once you’re inside of the museum. The museum has a video info box at the top of the line indicating estimated waiting times to get in.
